Pet Diagnostics tools

Loop 363 Animal Hospital offers diagnostic technology designed to address the needs of sick and injured pets, as well as routine diagnostic testing for healthy animals. Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic services to meet your pet’s health care needs.

VETERINARY RADIOLOGY SERVICES

Digital radiography uses an electronic sensor instead of X-ray film to produce an image. This image can be viewed and stored on a computer and is easily shared online with consulting specialists. Less radiation is needed to make an image with digital radiography. Our modern X-ray equipment provides high-quality radiographs for use in diagnosing the source of a pet’s problem. To identify the cause and extent of illness or injury in your pet.

Digital radiography is excellent for monitoring the healing progress in a broken bone or after an orthopedic repair. It is also used in our dental program, for a thorough evaluation when we suspect a problem or performing routine/preventative care.

VETERINARY ULTRASONOGRAPHY

A painless, non invasive technology that uses ultrasonic waves to capture detailed images within the body. Live time doppler allows exploration of the heart and bowel. Ultrasound is also helpful when performing cystocentesis.

VETERINARY DIAGNOSTIC LABORATORY

Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis, and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.

TONOMETRY

Loop 363 Animal Hospital offers our clients the benefit of a tonopen - a tool to measure the fluid pressure inside the eye.

Using an instrument called a tonopen, our doctors check your eyes during his or her exam. If your pet has red, irritated eyes, has suffered head or eye trauma, or is being monitored for glaucoma, this is a valuable diagnostic test.

For dogs with a potential for hip dysplasia, we offer OFA-xrays for peace of mind.

In-House Laboratory and Pharmacy

Our in-house laboratory and pharmacy allows the Loop 363 veterinarians the ability to get your pet's needed test results quickly and the prescribe a wide variety of medications to you at your pet's visit.

If you prefer to have medications, treats, parasite prevention, and food delivered right to your door, you can shop our online pharmacy as well. Many of our clients find this provides maximum convenience for their pet's healthcare!

I have 5 dogs that I bring here on a regular basis. I couldn’t be happier with the friendly and caring staff. I always appreciate the time the doctor takes to call me with updates / test results as well as the time and consideration made in finding the best way to proceed with treatment.
